Alex Wood

Alex Wood is a World Series Champion, All-Star, and pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Coming out of Charlotte, NC, Alex was the North Carolina Class 4A player of the year during his senior year of high school. He went on to play baseball for the University of Georgia, and he was Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves.

Alex made his MLB debut in 2013 for the Braves and went on to play for the LA Dodgers – including a 2017 All-Star nomination – then the Cincinnati Reds, before a return to the Dodgers in 2020.

Alex played a key role in the Dodgers’ 2020 World Series victory. Alex showed a stellar performance, pitching 4 scoreless innings across two outings, including starting Game 4.

Off the field, Alex is a huge sports fan. He follows the NBA, NFL, and Nascar. He also plays video games like Madden, FIFA, Call of Duty as an outlet for his competitive personality. He also plays MLB: The Show, where he is a player in the game!
